Call for abstracts ECSSN (Early Career and Student Statistician Network) Mini-conference 2022. The “Miniconference” is jointly hosted by the WA Branch, the SSA ECSS Network and the Student and Early Career Statisticians Network (SECS) of the New Zealand Statistical Association (NZSA).
An “Early Career or Student Statistician” is anyone who is currently studying statistics or data science, or has graduated in the last 5 years and works with statistics. There are no age restrictions.
We are excited to invite you to submit an Abstract for Presentation at the ECSSN Mini-conference 2022 (ECSSMini2022).
We are looking for a diversity of abstracts, not limited to scientific or academic findings but including descriptions of proposals or works-in-progress, career experiences, challenging problems, reviews of emerging statistical technologies and techniques, or even biographies of statistical heroes.
We hope we all use this opportunity to share our work and experience and network with like-minded and supportive peers and senior statisticians. So, feel free to submit an abstract you have presented or intend to present at another conference. This is a hybrid conference, so accepted abstracts will be presented online or in Perth. Accepted abstracts will also be published in conference proceedings and available on the SSA website.
